What Is Drone LiDAR?
LiDAR sensors — like the DJI Zenmuse L3, built exclusively for the DJI Matrice 400 RTK platform — emit thousands of laser pulses per second, measuring the return time to build a dense 3D point cloud. With a range of up to 950 m and 2–4 cm typical accuracy, it directly measures the physical environment and can even penetrate light vegetation to capture accurate ground data.
